District - 2/3/06 - Harrisburg, PA

District has a very cool underground rock club vibe. Dark with lots of cool lights and ambiance, bar on the side, lounge chairs in the back. We were the last act to play on a bill that included Maria Forgotten and our friends Red Room. I thought our performance went very well. We performed a lot of originals along with some of our cover favorites including "Tiny Dancer," "Trouble," and a rousing version of "Highway to Hell" for my friend Mitch.

In a "small world" moment, I found out that our soundman for the night (who did a fantastic job) was the older brother of a fellow MRT major that I shared several classes with at LVC. How cool. After the show I drove to my brother's house in Annville, PA and spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with him and Mitch and some other friends in the area.

Our demo tracks are coming along nicely and this Saturday we will have a headlining gig at Gullifty's in Camp Hill, PA. Gullifty's is a great room with a huge dancefloor and stage and I hope many of you will be able to make it to the show. The show starts at 10 P.M. and our opener is a great pop/rock band from Carlisle called Grandview. A really good friend of mine, Matt Flinchbaugh (aka Flinchy), will hopefully do a little MC'ing as well. See you Saturday,
